Get them something to read this holiday season :)

We are officially TWO weeks from Christmas. A book is a gift that will not only entertain, but can bring a family together, and even change a person. I still remember my mom reading the Boxcar Children to me at bedtime. It was a winter special edition. I don’t recall what the story was about but I can still see my mother sitting in my room and the tension in the air as the story was told.

If you need to add any of the Morus Chronicles to your shelf, there are links and descriptions of all of the books HERE. Or you can go directly to Amazon.

Some of my friends have great offerings as well! Check them out below.

Kelly Stanley – Prayer, Creativity, and Faith

Kelsey Timmerman – Nonfiction (travel + great story telling)

Sarah Schmitt – YA fiction

Melanie Hooyenga – YA fiction

Terri DeVries – Self-help

Irene Fridsma – Poetry

Happy Friday, all!

What horrors lurk on the fringes of society? These six short stories will disturb you to the core and chill you to the bone.

Wicked neighbors, past mistakes, mysterious visitors, and vigilante justice torment the pages of Stories from the Fringe. The hidden horrors of the world may seem far away, but soon they could be at your doorstep.

A word of advice: keep your light on and your eyes open.

Nanowrimo is Almost Here

In less than two weeks, the fun begins! I’m still working on a major overhaul of a project that I queried back in 2017 but might have to put it on hold for the month of November. The joy of creating gets diminished after the first draft, and I need that writing joy in my life.

Nanowrimo is a great way to get inspired and motivated. I’ll be starting my sixth novel. If you’ve always wanted to write, you can find resources and tracking tools at https://nanowrimo.org.

Happy writing!
