Bio

Joe spent his childhood on a dairy farm, where his imagination was free to wander, and so it did, right onto the pages of a fantasy novel set in the modern world.

Like his main character, Ethan Morus, Joe was forced into his own coming-of-age quest. At fifteen, Joe suffered a stroke and had to re-learn to walk, use fine motor skills, and verbal annunciation.

Now, Joe has earned a B.A. from Grand Valley State University, majoring in social studies and minoring in geography and education. Joe’s passion for history has impacted his world building and the ancient mysteries that are explained in his stories.

Joe teaches middle school social studies during the day and transforms into a writer at night. He is currently working on Treasure Hunter Tales: The Spirit of Steel, the second book in the trilogy.

Joe lives in Michigan with his wife, and dog, who lovingly tolerate his hours spent writing.
